Talk:Hundred, West Virginia
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Regarding Hundred is so named because Henry Church would sit on a rocking chair on his porch near the train station. As the train came into the station, people would say "There's old Hundred," referring to his age. Eventually the name stuck and the station- and the town- became known as Hundred. -- what was the town known as previous to that? JohnCub 13:52, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
