Huntington Mall

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Although named for the nearby city of Huntington, the Huntington Mall is actually located in the village of Barboursville in Cabell County in the U.S. state of West Virginia. By area, the Huntington Mall is considered the largest shopping mall in West Virginia. The mall opened in 1981 after two proposed locations in Huntington (one downtown, one near the present site of Huntington High School) were rejected by city government.

The Huntington Mall has several large department stores, including Macy's, Sears, JC Penney, Elder-Beerman, and Dick's Sporting Goods. Several big-box stores surround the complex, including Best Buy, Circuit City, Lowe's, Toys-R-Us, Wal-Mart, and Kohl's.
