Huntington Beach Pier

The Huntington Beach Pier is a publicly owned pier located in Huntington Beach, California. At 1,853 feet in length, it is the longest public pier on the West Coast. It has been destroyed three times; in 1912, 1939 and most recently on January 17, 1988. It is currently made of reinforced concrete and is not only designed to withstand large waves, but also earthquakes.
