Hunter Bridges

Hunter Brook Bridges (born May 1, 1989 in Birmingham, Alabama) is the drummer of the Hoover, Alabama based rock and roll band Riker Out.

[edit] Personal Life

Hunter has resided in Hoover, Alabama since he was born. He has been attended several schools the Hoover system, including Hoover High School, where he is currently enrolled as a senior. He has recently made a debut appearance on the Two-A-Days section of MTV Overdrive.[1]

Hunter placed 12th in the 2006 High School Programming Competition at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. [2] He also was among 60 students in the Hoover High School class of 2007 to score above a 30 on his ACT.[3]

Hunter plans on attending Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Bridges joined Riker Out in 2005. The band released their first album, The White Wall, in early 2007. Hunter recorded and mixed the album.

Hunter is a web and graphic designer, and has done work for many companies around the Birmingham area, as well as his band.

Hunter made his independent film debut as the organist in Ben Westhoven and Spencer Lenzie's Tubed. The film won the 2006 Sidewalk Film Festival Teen Film Making Contest. [4]It was recently screened at the Student Television Network Film Festival. [5]

Hunter plays a Cherry Burst Gretsch Renown drum set. He currently uses 8", 10", 12", and 14" toms, as well as a 14" Orange County Percussion snare drum. He primarily uses Evans drum heads and Vic Firth drumsticks. He also uses Sabian cymbals, with a single Zildjian exception.
