[edit] Synopsis

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

Phoebe has decided to take a hiatus from men. Piper seems to think Murphy and the government is hiding something from the sisters. At Magic School, two demons are circling a dying Krychek demon. One is a scratched demon named Emrick; the other is an evil soothsayer. Emrick wants to finish off the Krychek demon but he is told he can't as "Margoyle wants him alive" to learn how he became that powerful. Of course, Margoyle wants to gather as much powers as he can in order to rule the Underworld. It seems that a lot of demons have been dying in the Underworld lately and it's not from being vanquished but from a mysterious virus that kills all magical beings both good and evil. Billie is still trying to get information on the demon that took her sister fifteen years ago. Henry enlists Paige's help to babysit the baby of a woman who's been sent to prison. Leo also appears in the episode.

[edit] Trivia

  • The title of this episode is a play on words for the comic book series The Incredible Hulk and the movie Hocus Pocus.
  • Phoebe's premonition powers are shown to have grown as she is shown to have a conversion with her future self from the premonition she was having.
  • In this episode, Piper freezes Billie, but it was established before that Piper couldn't freeze witches. This maybe an indication that her powers are growing to the point that she can freeze good witches since her powers was able to freeze students from Magic School. This controversy is referred to in many other episodes or it could have been possible due to the magical virus.
  • This is the last premonition Phoebe is seen to have on the show
  • This is the first time Sierra Paris portrays Phoebe's daughter. The second time is during the series finale "Forever Charmed."
  • Both the actresses used in this episode and in "Witchness Protection" to play Phoebe's daughter are called Sierra, and have P as the first initial of their surname. Sierra Paris and Sierra Parks, respectively.
