Hukvaldy

Hukvaldy (German: Hochwald) is a village in the Czech Republic, in the Moravian-Silesian Region. Population: 1,900.
The village is situated under the ruins of one of the largest castles in Moravia, Hrad Hukvaldy. Hukvaldy is also known for being the birthplace of the composer Leoš Janáček and palaeontologist Ferdinand Stoliczka.
