Hugh M Cummings High School is a high school (grades 9-12) in Burlington, North Carolina, and part of the Alamance-Burlington School System. The school opened in 1970 and serves the east side of the city.

In 2005 it had some 887 students and 69 teachers. Ethnically the students were 57% African American, 23% Hispanic, 18% white, 2% Asian and 1% Native American.

It's also the home to multiple state champions in football. basketball and track. The year 2006-2007 was a good year more should come. No other alamance school can see cummings in basketball, football, or track. The 2007-2008 year should do just as well.

There sports spectacular but the grades are not that well.
