Bob Rickman (Rick Peters), a manipulative, wheeler-dealer entrepreneur, has the kryptonite based ability to to bend others to his will. He convinces Jonathan to sell the farm. Then Kyle Tippet (Gregory Sporleder), a man who lives alone in the woods, helps as he also has the same power to convince anyone of anything.
