Hudson City School District is a school district covering most of Hudson, Ohio, Boston Heights, Ohio, and parts of Boston Township, Ohio, and Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio [1].

The interim superintendent is L. Jack Thomas. He was appointed at the October 9, 2006 Hudson Board of Education meeting. Mr. Thomas will serve until a permanent superintendent is chosen [3].
The former superintendent was Mary Ann Wolowiec. However, Mrs. Wolowiec announced her resignation at the September 25, 2006 Board of Education meeting, effective the Friday of that week. [4].

- School Bus Garage, opened in 1974 [5]. While buses are board-owned, Laidlaw is contracted to operate the fleet.
- Lavelli Stadium, built in 1972, named in 1975, when 1941 Hudson High School graduate Dante Lavelli was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame [5].
- Ada Cooper Miller Natatorium, attached to East Woods Elementary. Ada Cooper Miller served on the Hudson Board of Education for 40 years, and presided for 25 of those years.
