Hudiesaurus (meaning "Butterfly lizard") is the informal name given to a genus of dinosaur from China. A sauropod, it was related to Mamenchisaurus. It lived during the Late Jurassic. The type (and only known) species, Hudiesaurus sinojapanorum, is known from only a partial skeleton: one leg, teeth, and a partial spine. It has never been fully described, but was mentioned by Dong in 1997. Although the fossils are fragmentary, Hudiesaurus is believed to have been very large, even for sauropods.
