Huckabuck
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A huckabuck is a homemade frozen, summer-time treat enjoyed by New Orleanians. It consists of a paper cup that is filled with some sort of sweet liquid like Kool-Aid. They are made in the summertime by loving mothers, and children buy them on their way home from school for a dime. They are still served to this day at the New Orleans Jazz Festival and in neighborhoods around New Orleans.
