Huahum Pass (spanish: Paso Huahum) is a mountain pass through the southern Andes along the border between Chile and Argentina, and is one of the principal passes of the Andes. It is the one of the lowest with it's 625 m. and in difference to many Chile-Argentina passes it needs never to close due to snow falls and is open all the year. The pass is regarded as a tourism pass as road is interrupted by Pirihueico Lake were a ferry transports vehicles and persons to the other side of this long lake. It is the main pass of the Chilean Los Ríos Region to Neuquén Province in Argentina. The main cities on both sides of the pass are Panguipulli in Chile and San Martín de los Andes 45 km from the pass in Argentina).
