[edit] HP Output Management Solutions

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article HP Output Management Solutions, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.

Same goes for HP Output Server.

Regarding that note on the bottom, please read Wikipedia's copyright policy. I don't believe material copyrighted by HP can be on wikipedia in that context. -Haikon 12:54, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

Hello, HPOMteam! I want to back up what Haikon said. Note that by submitting content to Wikipedia you and I and anyone who submits content agrees that (1) "Content that violates any copyright will be deleted" and that (2) "You agree to license your contributions under the GFDL." You still own the exclusive copyright to the content you submit to Wikipedia, but it means that you agree to license it under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, which means that anyone can use the content for commercial reuse and derivative works. If Hewlett-Packard has decided to license some of their content under the GFDL, great! We will, however, need to have verification that they have. Would you be willing to forward your correspondence to the e-mail address permissions-en AT wikimedia DOT org? Then a OTRS member will be able to indicate on the relevant pages that permission has been granted. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me either here or at my talk page.
