The HP Compaq TC4400 is the highest-end Tablet PC that HP currently offers. It is of the convertible Tablet PC design (as opposed to hybrid or slate). This design allows it to be used in the position of a normal laptop or have the screen turned and folded down for writing on.

As of November 2006, prices on pre-configured models range from US$1,449 to US$1,849.[2] Creating a custom model can bring the price over US$3,000.[3]
