Howard School of Academics and Technology is a co-educational public school in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Dr. Elaine Swafford has been the executive principal of grades 6-12 since 2004.

Howard was the first public school in the Chattanooga area. The name is drawn from Civil War General Oliver O. Howard, as is Howard University.

The gymnasium is home to the Tennessee Mud Frogs professional basketball team.
