Howard Davies (theatre director)

Howard Davies is a noted British theatre director.

He is currently associated drector of the National Theatre and was previously associate director of the Almeida and the Royal Shakespeare Company.

He has been nominated for three Tony awards: Les Liaisons Dangereuses (1987), The Iceman Cometh (1999) and Private Lives (2002).

He has been awarded two Laurence Olivier Theatre Awards for best director: The Iceman Cometh (1998), All My Sons (2001) and nominated for Private Lives (2002).
