"How Long?" is the title of a 1975 song by the British group Ace off their album Five-A-Side.
The song seems to be a story of a love affair gone bad. There have been some accounts that lead singer Paul Carrack, composed the song upon discovering that bassist Terry Comer had been secretly working with other bands. Cromer returned to Ace in time to play on this song.
In 1982, Rod Stewart released a remake of this song as a single. It charted in the top fifty of the Billboard Hot 100.
