[edit] Summary
"How Can I Unlove You" was one of many follow-ups to Lynn Anderson's big 1970 crossover hit "Rose Garden". "How Can I Unlove You" song proved very successful for Anderson. The song was one of four other songs following the success of "Rose Garden" that reached #1 on the Country charts for Lynn Anderson. The song has been classified for many years as one of her signature songs. In 1971 also, an album by the same name as the single was released, which was a successful album for Anderson on the Country charts.
The song did not gain any Pop success like her hit "Rose Garden" did. The song only made it to the high ends of the Pop charts that year.
