[edit] Welcome, some tips, and The Elfish Gene

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thanks for contributing, we hope you stick around and continue to contribute! A few quick tips: 1. When adding a new topic to a "Talk" page, be sure to add a new section at the bottom. You don't want to just paste it at the top. The "+" tab at the top of your screen (assuming you're using the defaults) will help you do exactly that. 2. Be sure to sign your Talk messages with ~~~~. This automatically adds your name and the current date, making it easier for others to track a conversation. 3. Generally discussions about what should be in an article should go on the article's associated "Discussion" or "Talk" page, that way all interested editors can see it. 4. When adding book citations, you generally don't add a link unless the link will take readers to a free copy online. The ISBN, if properly formatted, will automatically turn into links. Finally, if you'd like to continue discussing the Elfish Gene addition to Dungeons & Dragons, here is the appropriate place. Thanks for contributing! — Alan De Smet | Talk 01:00, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
