[edit] Houtman
I reverted this edit as it contradicts my understanding of the discovery of the Abrolhos and you've provided no source for your claim. Refer J.S Battye [1]. -- Ian ≡ talk 05:52, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
- Further reading reveals you're probably correct. Reverted back with copyedits. -- Ian ≡ talk 06:39, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
I've reverted again back to the original version awaiting viable references before inclusion of Menezes encounter in 1527. -- Ian ≡ talk 13:07, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Connection to "Abre Los Ojos" irrelevant?
Why is it irrelevant that there is a film with the same name?
The Portuguese Abrolhos / Abra-os-olhos is equivalent to the Spanish "Abre Los Ojos" ("open your eyes"), where it was the name of the popular movie thriller Abre Los Ojos, later remade by Tom Cruise into Hollywood blockbuster Vanilla Sky.
