Talk:Houses of Morrowind
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Later tonight I'm making some serious edits to this page. It's horribly inaccurate....
A few examples:
- The article correctly states House Indoril has no holdings on Vvardenfell... but under House Sotha claims Vivec to be one of Indoril's holdings.
- The article mentions the long-dead House Sotha, but not the more recent and perhaps more relevent House Mora. After all, Helseth is still alive while Sotha Sil was not so lucky.
- His name was Voryn Dagoth, not Voryn Dagoth Ur... Dagoth Ur is the name he chose after he was betrayed by Nerevar.
- THere are still plenty of Sixth House cultists... so even though Dagoth Ur fell, House Dagoth will probably linger as a terrorist group of sorts.
- House Redoran was NOT destroyed. The Redorans __in Ald'ruhn__ were killed to the last man, but there are many more Redoran towns on Vvardenfell, not to mention on the mainland which were not even touched by the Daedra. Also, this little paragraph is very 'fan-ish'. This is an encyclopedia and should sound like one.
- There seems to be some disagreement on how many great houses there are. There are SIX great hosues, not seven. House Dwemer is referenced in one, maybe two, of the in-game books. Whether erroneous or indicating that the Chimer considered the Dwemer as equals, they were in no way a Great House, though they did have a representative on the First Council.
- Oh... and Vivec was not built yet when Ald Sotha was destroyed... so that's a pretty lame indication that House Sotha was Indoril even if Indoril owned Vivec, which they don't.
- There is very little informationb on Dres in here... odd.
I'm sure there are others. 75.177.176.6 23:38, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
