[edit] Evidence, please

I would like to see some documentary evidence of how the 'modern' hourglass corset differs from the 'Victorian' hourglass corset.

I would also like to see some evidence for this Fakir Musafar guy having 'invented' a new version of the hourglass corset.

Otherwise I think that this article is spurious and will nominate it for deletion.

Perhaps the name are wrong, but the hourglass corsets of today are not unhealthy as in the vitorian era. Korsetmaster (corset.dk) tell my as Fakir Musafar By the name Corsetier O. in the late 1950s sold pattern to the modren Hourglass corset Haabet 20:29, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
Again, I'll ask for evidence that Victorian and modern hourglass corsets are different. You state that they are, but you do not give any evidence.
I checked corset.dk; I couldn't find any reference to Fakir Musafar or Corsetier O. Can you give a link to the part of the site where they are mentioned?

Korsetmaster (corset.dk) say the evidence is Fakir Musafar, Body Play, CNL og Ruth JohnsonHaabet 20:54, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
I've looked at the site, I've tried searching the site using Google. I need a link that takes me to exactly the page where this claim is made. I cannot see the evidence you say is there: the onus on you is to show it to me, not to just tell me that it exists.

If You kan make a replacement article of corsets of today, it is in order by me. 16:49, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
You're missing the point! The point is that I don't think that there is a significant difference between current hourglass corsets and historical ones - there are so many variations and subtleties in the patterns, and besides, I know of no research that surveys the historical variation in the construction of hourglass corsets. That's what I'm asking for - your evidence to support the article changes that you have made.
And to be quite honest, I don't think that you're being very constructive here. I'm perfectly willing to change my views as soon as you produce evidence; I want to work towards a consensus. If I change this article without us coming to some kind of agreement, you'll only change it to something that I won't agree with, and I'd rather use my time productively!
