The Houston Takers is an American Basketball Association (ABA) expansion team in Sugar Land, Texas. The team was previously known as the Houston Undertakers, named after Houston native Mark Calaway, better known as the The Undertaker, a famous professional wrestler in the WWE. However, the team changed the name because the earlier name was very unpopular among fans and players alike. [1]
