Houston School District

The Houston School District is a public school district based in Houston, Mississippi (USA).

In addition to Houston, the district also serves the village of Woodland.

There were a total of 1,941 students enrolled in the Houston School District during the 2005-2006 school year. The gender makeup of the district was 49% female and 51% male. The racial makeup of the district was 41% African American, 52% White, 1% Asian, 6% Hispanic, and less than 1% Native American.[1]
