House of Carters (previously known as "The Carters") is a documentary/reality show on the E! cable network, and Much Music in Canada, about the lives of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter and his four siblings as they try to revive their careers as well as reconnect as a family. The series premiered on October 2, 2006. Eight episodes have been ordered. The show stars Nick, Aaron, Leslie, Angel and Bobbie Jean Carter.
[edit] Trivia
- The show was parodied on Saturday Night Live on October 21, 2006, with Andy Samberg as Aaron Carter and Jason Sudeikis as Nick Carter. The parody featured the Carters always fighting and yelling absurd things such as "Your beats are whack!", until their manager (host John C. Reilly) walked into the room and the brothers would act nice to each other. It was edited out of a recent NBC repeat.
