"Hot like Fire" is a song recorded by American R&B singer Aaliyah. It is best known in its "Timbaland's Groove Mix", which is the version that earned the most airplay when released as the fifth single from Aaliyah's sophomore album One in a Million. It was produced by Timbaland and written by Missy Elliott.
[edit] Music Video
Released in the Summer of 1997, Most of the music video featured Aaliyah and male dancers performing on a fiery stage at a party. Missy Elliott and Timbaland made cameos in the video. Also making cameos in the video are Changing Faces, Lil' Kim, Lil' Cease, and the Junior Mafia. This is notable since the video was made just a few months after the death of the Notorious B.I.G.
