[edit] Hot Waffles

Hot Waffles is a comedy rock duo from Orange County, California. The group consists of two real-life brothers, Chris and Tim Waffle. Although the brothers had been creating funny songs since early childhood, they never played together professionally until the first Hot Waffles performance in 1996. They consider themselves a duo, however, they sometimes play with a drummer as a power trio and have had many other band members over the years.

[edit] George Lucas Raped Our Childhood

Their biggest hit to date, "George Lucas Raped Our Childhood", brought a new level of fame to Hot Waffles. Originally written as a satire of Star Wars fan's complaints of how George Lucas was treating his legacy, the song became a battle-cry for fans who were fed up with Lucas' changes to the original Star Wars trilogy, as well as critics of the new trilogy which some found lacking in character and story. Hot Waffles appeared on Extra, performing a short bit of the song during the filming of the music video and also performed the song live on G4TV's Attack of the Show.

[edit] Chris Waffle

Along with Hot Waffles, Chris has lent his bass stylings to other bands. He has a long collaboration with the comedy rock band, Raymond And Scum, playing bass on their two albums, "Touch It" and "Suck", as well as performing live with them numerous times. He also played bass on a cover of "Weird Al" Yankovic's "Nature Trail to Hell" with Mike Odd & The Oddities. Since 1996, Chris has hosted a comedy radio show, "The All-U-Can-Eat Buffet of Musical Madness". The show focuses on comedy and comedy music and started at California State University, Long Beach. It has since moved on to Dementia Radio and can be heard on Thursday nights. Past guests of the show include, Jon "Bermuda" Schwartz, Throwing Toasters, and The Great Luke Ski among others.
