Hot Tamales are a cinnamon candy manufactured by Just Born.

They are made from misshapen Mike and Ike candies [verification needed] and were introduced in 1950.

They are available in both paper boxes and in plastic bags.

A mean-looking fireball with sunglasses replaced the 1990s logo that featured a smiling sun with sunglasses. In the 1950s, the logo featured a Mexican wearing a sombrero.

In addition to the original flavor, there are also Hot Tamales Fire (originally Super Hot Tamales) which are more intense than the original, a darker red in color, and less opaque. Hot Tamales Ice, an "intense mint" candy, were introduced in January 2007.
