Hot Docs
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hot Docs is North America's largest documentary film festival held annually in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The 2007 Festival runs from April 19th - 29th, 2007.
The 2006 Festival ran from 28 April to 7 May and featured more than 100 films from around the world. The film festival was started in 1993 by the Canadian Independent Film Caucus, a national association of independent documentary filmmakers. Much of the festival's success can also be credited to the logistical support rendered by scores of volunteers every year.
In addition to the Festival, Hot Docs also runs North America's essential documentary market The Toronto Documentary Forum (TDF).
