Hot 100 FM
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hot 100 FM is a radio station in Darwin, Australia operated by Northern Territory Broadcasters and owned by the Grant Broadcasters network of Australian radio stations. It shares a facility with sister station Mix 104.9 FM and narrowcast country music station 92.3 Top Country.
Hot 100 FM was formed when the incumbent AM radio station, 8DN, was closed down to make way for the new FM-band commercial licenses. Hot 100 FM is now a contemporary hit music based radio station and is regarded as the more "male" commercial radio station in the Darwin market. It currently broadcasts to the greater Darwin region with translators in Katherine and Jabiru. Hot 100 FM's General Manager is Graham Cron, and its Program Director is Pete Hill. Personalities on the station include "Drex & Ronnie", Joel Gelding (Joel's Hot Tub), Sammie the Radio Chick, and various casual announcers.
