[edit] Top Hospitality School
I added Virginia Tech with the reason being its program ranked #3 nation wide in term of research productivity Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Research
- How many were ranked? It would be great if you could relate the top ten or so. Cheers! BD2412 T 04:40, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
-
- 22 schools were ranked. top ten are in this order: cornell, michigan state, virginia tech, hong kong poly, u of nevada LV, penn state, purdue, u central florida, u of surrey (uk), and northern arizona. and i should say, worldwide, not nationwide.--underexpose 05:17, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
- i think the second paragraph need to be changed. the specific journal i were refering to rank each program in term of research productivity only. this should be noted. also, i believe the ranking is one-time, not annually.--underexpose 05:35, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
- ok, if you insist :)--underexpose 18:18, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Definition
This page is merely a list of school that provide HTM program. I think we need to expand the definition or what "Hospitality Management" really is, what is the career prospective (sample job?), and probably what one could expect to learn when you enter the program. --underexpose 18:23, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Title change?
Surely this is entirely concerned with US schools teaching the subject. No mention whatsoever that it is also taught in eg UK see [1] or in Australia [2] - why not? Peter Shearan 18:19, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
- I donot have enough knowledge regarding the school outside USA; however, please feel free to add information for such school. thanks, underexpose 18:42, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
