Hosaka Kazushi

Hosaka Kazushi (保坂 和志 Hosaka Kazushi) born October 15, 1956, is a Japanese writer.

Hosaka was born in Yamanashi,received his undergraduate education at Waseda University with a major in Political Science and Economics. After he graduated the Waseda University, he worked for Seibu department store. He directed the educational program about philosophy. During this period he published the first book, "plane song."

He writes about ordinary life. His work is usually compared with the films of Yasujiro Ozu. And also He writes about life with cat.
