Horton Court

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Horton Court is a stone-built manor house situated in Horton, near Chipping Sodbury, South Gloucestershire, England. The building has been a National Trust property since 1949.

All that remains of the rectory is the hall and an exceptionally fine detached ambulatory. The ambulatory or loggia was built for William Knight after his return from Italy in 1527.

The rest of the house is inhabited by a tenant, and is not open to the public.
