Horse Camp Hut is an Australian Hut in the Kosciuszko National Park. Located just off the fire trail to Whites River Hut. The hut is popular with day walkers as its only a short distance from the Mungyang or Guthega hydro electric power stations which are part of the Snowy Mountains Scheme. Access to the hut is along well maintained fire trails which makes it popular with cyclists. However the walk or ride is not for the faint hearted with a very long steep initial accent. However the scenic hut offers a rewarding finale. Originally built by the Snowy Mountains Authority in the 1950's it was used for surveying but was abandoned in the 1960's.
On many CMA maps it is called Horse Hut.
