Horacio Villalobos

Horacio Villalobos (born 1969 at Mexico City) is a mexican actor and TV host. He is most known for hosting in musical cable network Telehit the shows Válvula de Escape and Desde Gayola.

He attended Oxford College to study acting, and Law Studies in UNAM. He acted professionally in the plays of Picasso at the Lapin Agile and The Little Prince at Mexico City, being directed by Susana Alexander.

He began at TV with news channel ECO and another Televisa´s shows like Gaceta Cultural, 6205 el Planeta, Entre Butacas, Trapitos al Sol and Operación Triunfo.

In Telehit, he began to stay there since the show Malas Lenguas, for being later in his own talk show: Valvula de Escape, where he hosted it from 1996 to 2006.

In 2001, he starts his own comedy show Desde Gayola in his space of Valvula de Escape, that remained like this until the end of the show. Besides of hosting it, he acted as Gustavito (a retarded gossip-magazine reporter) and Norberto Rivera Melo (a priest).

In August 2006, he quitted Telehit, giving end the broadcasting of these two shows. The reason that made him retire is that he claimed that the network was not giving the right traits for him and his workers at the show. Although, he still tours with his theater show Había una Vez desde Gayola.
