Horace Jenkins (born October 14, 1974) is an American professional basketball player, formerly of the NBA.
Undrafted after a college basketball career at William Paterson University, Jenkins signed as a rookie free agent with the Detroit Pistons before the 2004-2005 season, averaging 2.8 points per game in 15 appearances. Jenkins took the long route to the NBA, working to support his family and then playing in Europe before signing his first NBA contract at the age of 29.
In the year of 2005 Jenkins signed a contract in the Israeli team Hapoel Jerusalem. In 2006, he signed for Turkish giants Efes Pilsen SK, where he is currently playing. Jenkins was also the winner of the 2001 ESPN NCAA dunk contest beating former division I standout Jeff Trepagnier.
