The Hope Album was recorded inside Long Bay Jail in 1993, it was later signed to Warner Bros Music Publishing. The bands Captive Edition and Ricky Jones together with the producer and manager Vincent Ruello pioneered music rehab programmes in all Australian jails where inmates would release pain and anger through recordings of music, words and feelings. In 1994 the album was released Australia wide to great media interest.
