A honeymelon is a hybrid between a watermelon and a honeydew. Its skin looks much like the watermelon, however the inside is a pale green with no seeds. It grows in the North Eastern United States, centered around Northern Virginia. Due to the Honeydews winter growing season and the watermelons spring season the hybrid melon has no limited growing season.

Discovery: The Honeymelon was created by the farmer Jon Tucker and his melon enthusiast friend Gina Davids. They stumbled on this odd combination by cross-pollenation.[citation needed]
