Honeybourne

Honeybourne is a village in Worcestershire, England. It is 5 miles east of Evesham. It had a population of 1619 and approximately 600 houses at the last census in 2001. It has several old thatched buildings and some newer brick buildings. Originally it was two villages, Cow Honeybourne and Church Honeybourne. When they joined, one of the churches was made into a private house. The other is called St. Ecgwins. There are some tourist attractions like the Domestic Fowl Trust, The Ranch, The Thatched Tavern (which was built in the thirteenth century) and Honeybourne Pottery. It has a First School for children aged 4 to 10 and a Nursery called Honeybees for children aged 2 to 4. The village is served by Honeybourne railway station. Most of the surrounding land is farmland.
