Honey bear

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Honey bear is sometimes used as a common name to refer to two different bear species with more widely used common names:

Both of these bears have a chevron- or crescent-shaped patch of light-colored fur on their upper chests, which may account for their sharing this name.

Honey bear can also refer to the kinkajou (Potos flavus), a relative of the raccoon native to South American rainforests.
