From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Production began on November 16, 2001, with the plant producing its 500,000th vehicle on March 1, 2005. Poor sales of the Acura MDX and Honda Ridgeline, built at the company's Honda of Canada Manufacturing plant, has led to cuts in production at the Alabama plant in 2006.
