Honda LPGA Thailand

The Honda LPGA Thailand is an LPGA Tour golf tournament that played for the first time at the Amata Spring Country Club in Thailand from October 20 to October 22, 2006. It is the first LPGA Tour event held in Thailand and it increases the number of countries on the 2006 LPGA schedule to eight, including the United States. The total purse was US$1.3 million. The LPGA's South Korean and Japanese stops follow the next two weeks.
The title sponsor is Honda, a Japanese-based manufacturer of automobiles, trucks, motorcycles, scooters and robots.
