Homogenic, released in September of 1997 is an album by Icelandic singer/songwriter/musician Björk. It was produced by Björk herself, Howie B, Guy Sigsworth and Mark Bell and was received with great enthusiasm by critics, who particularly enjoyed the mix between electronic music and classical strings. Homogenic has been certified gold in the U.S. It peaked at #4 in the UK album chart. Homogenic was also nominated for Best Alternative Album at the 1998 Grammys while Bachelorette was nominated for Best Music Video.
