Homewood, South Carolina

Homewood is a small community in South Carolina just north of Conway in Horry County in the northeastern part of the state. Homewood has under 500 inhabitants, with a mixture of whites, blacks, and a few Hispanics, and is unincorporated, although there is an elementary school in the community. Many of the inhabitants make a living from family farms, growing tobacco, corn, soybeans, and tomatoes.
