Home club

Home is a community dance club in Singapore located at The Riverwalk, near Boat Quay.
17 June 2005 saw the official opening of Home, on the ground of former Mad Monks (pub).
As its name suggests, it is meant to be an intimate space for one to enjoy the evening and small party nights. There is no glamorous or posh sofas, no velveteen but homely, comfortable couches one could sink into, bare concrete and brickwork with pillars decorated with motifs and vintage lamps, ornate side tables, vases and bare hanging bulbs, all fixtures suggesting the literal meaning of "Home".
With a variety of events that span across many different musical genres (mainly indie/alternative rock; drum & bass; techno; and electro) - from live performances by Singapore’s finest, international bands and DJs, to art exhibitions, campaign launches and flea markets – and a focus of being on the support of the local musicians and creative artisans, Home pioneers itself as a community club that supports the local and underground music communities.
HOME is the people’s club! We work with the most exciting, cutting edge promoters locally and internationally to bring to you DJs, Talents and clubbing events with a difference.
HOME was officially voted by Juice, Singapore's dance music & lifestyle magazine, as the Best Small Club for 2005; Best New Club Night (Local) - Poptart, Runner up to Zouk for Most Up For It Crowd with Poptart, Runner up to Nu Beats @ Zouk for Best Club Night (Local) with Guerrilla; and Best Underground Club (2006).
HOME was the official Fringe Club for M1 Fringe Festival 2006 and the coming 2007 and the official Club for Substation’s Sept Festival 2006.

BEAT! - Chittick (aka Styra), George Chua and Joe Ng play hosts to BEAT! every Friday. Expect an an eclectic mix of music and huge chunks of independent rock.

BEAT! Live - Beat Live is a monthly live music event that showcases local Singaporean bands. It is an effort by the Home's committee to support local music scene and independent rock community. Drawing from a pool of the rising talented youth as well as experienced veterans from the local scene, Beat Live prides itself on the platform for inspired musicians.
Off Beat - A monthly showcase of bands organised by Music For Good and Home Club.
4AM in the Mix - A blend of electro, house, drum & bass and techno strikes the club after 4a.m. all the way till six in the morning on Fridays and Saturdays. 4AM in the Mix targets the late night dance-floor enthusiasts.
Home Turns - Home Club opens the deck to DJs and music enthusiasts on Tuesdays. Members of the public are allowed to play or share their music by booking a slot with the management.
Home Salad - The start of your electrifying Wednesdays... Chopped up, diced, sliced and freshly mixed each week with a different selection of tasteful, mouth watering dressing! Come unexpected as we bring you a different mix each week of our very own tossed-up HOMESALAD!.
Home Chills - It’s a Thursday night and you’re not quite sure what to do, but you do know you don’t want to leave Home. You’d rather sit back enjoy some good tunes and a beverage of your choice. Every Thursday we invite you to chill out, bringing you nothing less than the coolest beats and the funkiest feats. Sit back, relax and enjoy being comfortably at Home.
