Home Alone (video game)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Home Alone is a series of video games created for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega Master System, Nintendo Entertainment System and the Game Boy and is based on the movie of the same name. The game only allows for one player and the object is to get all your parents' valuables in the basement before the Wet Bandits get them all and kidnaps you. There is an English as well as a Japanese version, for people around the world to play with. Both version of this game play the same, although different letters are used during conversation.

20th Century Fox played a vital role in converting the movie into video game form. Still pictures of movie scenes are used in the portions of the game that are meant to tell the story about how the Wet Bandits plan to invade the house of a young boy whose family is on vacation in Florida. Although the graphics are big and the bells and whistles are exciting, the game can be easily beaten (even without Game Genie codes).
