From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The HomeLink Wireless Control System is a radio frequency (RF) transceiver, integrated into some automobiles, that can be programmed to activate devices such as garage door openers, and RF-controlled lighting, gates and locks.

The system is made by Johnson Controls and is included as a standard feature, as part of a specific trim package, or as an option on many new vehicles.
