Description

Church of the Holy Cross, Ramsbury, UK. "A rather solid, squat tower built with with flint; inside the church are the remains of a Saxon cross. There was a bishopric here in the 10th century which was merged with the see of Sherborne in 1058, so the site the church stands on is probably an ancient and significant one"
