Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

Kitty announces that the hospital is short staffed and she can't make it to church, so Eric & Laurie take the opportunity to ask if they can't go. Kitty tells them they still have to go and Red, even though he doesn't have to go, needs to make sure they go. While walking outside Laurie tells Eric she's going to the bowling alley to see some friends and he goes to the Hub to see his feeling guilty. On getting home Kitty asks them how church went knowing that they didn't go because she asked Bob. Kitty tells them that from now on they can make up their own minds. A week later the kids tell Kitty that they don't want to go and she ends up sitting in church alone where she daydreams she'll go to hell if her family doesn't go to church. Upon getting home she announces to Red that she's bringing the church's youth pastor over for dinner later. When the youth pastor arrives they talk, sing, draw pictures, and play cards (Laurie draws three sixes as in "666"). Hyde is upset he has to be there, Laurie is hitting on the pastor, and Kitty is trying to get the kids excited. A week later Eric and Laurie tell Kitty they don't want to go, but she tells them they have to go. Eric asks her why he has to go if Red doesn't go which excites Kitty cause Red promised her he'd only go if the kids didn't go because of him. So everyone goes and both Laurie & Red are upset at Eric.

Kelso says he misses Jackie so Hyde points out he can now do things that he couldn't do when he was with her like growing a beard. Fez announces that he is going to grow one too. A week later his beard is just starting to come in and Jackie mocks it. Fez walks in with a huge full beard. Later Jackie admits to Donna that she finds Kelso's beard hot but can't tell him that because he cheated on her and she hates him for that. Jackie heads off to the hub to go see Kelso and his beard but finds him with bandaids on his face and his beard shaved off, so she is repulsed and walks out.
