The Holmes County School District is a public school district based in Lexington, Mississippi (USA). The district's boundaries parallel that of Holmes County.

There were a total of 3,479 students enrolled in the Holmes County School District during the 2005-2006 school year. The gender makeup of the district was 50% female and 50% male. The racial makeup of the district was 99.9% African American and less than 1% White, Hispanic, and Asian.[1]
